Hooked is more than just a sushi restaurant—it’s the product of our shared passion for food, hospitality, and community. We (Jon and Kelsey) met in the restaurant industry, and it wasn’t long before we knew we wanted to build something together. In 2021, we took the leap and opened Hooked, blending Jon’s experience in opening and operating restaurants with our mutual love for fresh, high-quality ingredients.
Jon’s love for seafood started in Seattle, where he grew up surrounded by some of the best. That appreciation for fresh, simple, and expertly prepared food is the foundation of everything we do at Hooked. But beyond the food, we believe hospitality makes all the difference. We’ve built a team that feels like family—some of them actually are!—and we hope every guest who walks through our doors feels that warmth, too.
When we’re not at the restaurant, you’ll find us with our two kids, Grey and Millie—they’re our biggest inspiration and the reason we do what we do.
